A 21-year-old West Side man is facing murder charges after allegedly stabbing a 42-year-old man whose body was found in the trunk of a car on the Northwest Side on Wednesday, police said.
Martin O. Molina, 21, was charged Thursday evening with one felony count of first-degree murder after being identified as the person who stabbed Felipe Villalobos-Calderon, whose body was found inside the trunk of a Cadillac parked on the street in the 2100 block of North Marmora Avenue in the city’s Belmont Central neighborhood, police said.

Responding officers spotted Molina in the Cadillac’s driver’s seat, covered in blood, and he was taken into custody without incident, according to a police report that cited preliminary information. At least one knife was discovered in a nearby alley.
An autopsy Thursday determined Villalobos-Calderon, of the Portage Park neighborhood, died of multiple sharp force injuries, and his death was ruled a homicide, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Molina, who worked with the victim, is due in court Friday on the charge.
