A man stabbed on a CTA platform in the West Garfield Park neighborhood was in serious condition at a hospital early Tuesday, Chicago police said.

A 28-year-old man was involved in an argument with another man just after midnight at the Pulaski Blue Line station, 530 S. Pulaski Road, along the Eisenhower Expressway. The other man took out a knife and stabbed the 28-year-old, according to a police media notification.

The injured man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with wounds to the neck.

No one was in custody and detectives are investigating, police say.

The stabbing is the latest disturbance at the Pulaski station in recent months. A fight in February led to the death of a woman on the train tracks. A few weeks later, a man apparently fell on the tracks and died.
