Military salutes not mandatory: On the rules for saluting military personnel, the president salutes as a courtesy of being commander in chief, but there are no official statutes that require other top politicians like him or the vice president to do so. They are civilians and not part of the military chain of command.
We need more in Congress like her: Marjorie Taylor Greene is a breath of fresh air. She expresses her conservative views clearly. Of course the Democrats and the establishment politicians in the swamp don’t like her and are trying to remove her from Congress. Hopefully she will resist all efforts to intimidate and corrupt her into being just like them. We need more people like her.
Homeless vs. immigrants: I have always supported and respected any president in office. President Biden is not responsible for all the immigrants coming over the border. It’s the people pulling his strings, just like Howdy Doody. We have homeless people in the U.S. that would like to have a clean bed and shower and expensive ice cream as dessert. Wake up America, smell the roses before it’s too late.
Teach your kids: Congress is not going to be able to fix the problem of gun control in this country. This city and state alone, mostly the city, we have more shootings every week than the mass shootings that take place in Colorado and elsewhere. The only way you’re going to control illegal guns is to teach these kids right from wrong, being parents and not just throwing them on the street. The only thing gun control will do is hurt the people who want to own a gun.
No place for ethnic jokes: Growing up, I remember the cruel and demoralizing ethnic jokes. Every ethnic group was considered stupid, lazy and a burden. When an ethnic group got established, they then took on the entitlement of owning this country and putting down the next ethnic group coming in. Our relatives came to this country because they were trying to escape something and have a better life. They worked hard and helped to make this country the great nation that it is today. How soon we forget.
