Cate Blanchett masked up for the SAG Awards … but not in the way you think.
As the ceremony is both virtual and pre-taped this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, red carpet looks changed to hotel rooms, homes, and the like.
The Oscar winner’s prep for the ceremony included posing for pictures while donning a white sheet mask, as posted to her stylist Elizabeth Stewart’s Instagram.
“#fittingphotoZ ??,” Stewart captioned the good-natured snap.

The Aussie actress, 51, was nominated Sunday for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for her role as Phyllis Schlafly in “Mrs. America.”
Blanchett has been nominated for several awards for FX’s star-studded miniseries, which centers on the 1970s journey to passing the Equal Rights Amendment.
Along with SAG, the role of the conservative activist saw the “Lord of the Rings” alumna nominated for a Golden Globe and two Emmy awards — one for acting, one for the series itself as she executive produced.
