A 32-year-old Kankakee man is facing charges of possession of child pornography, authorities said Thursday.

Donald J. Legler was arrested Wednesday by Illinois State Police agents after they executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of South East Avenue in Kankakee, police said.
Legler’s arrest follows an ongoing investigation that began in January, when “pertinent evidence” was located.
A judge Thursday set bail for Legler, who faces six counts of possession of child pornography, at $500,000, police said.
Legler remains in custody at the Jerome Combs Detention Center in Kankakee.
