New for 2021, Nissan will offer as standard its suite of safety features on all four grade levels of the Murano.
Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 includes standard rear automatic braking, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, intelligent forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning and intelligent lane intervention.
The 2021 Nissan Murano also has a rear door alert and driver alertness systems. The alertness system warns a driver when drowsy driving is detected.
Available systems include traffic sign recognition and Intelligent Around View Monitor, which displays the vehicle’s surroundings, displaying various camera views, including a bird’s-eye view.
The 2021 Nissan Murano has a 3.5-liter V6 engine, producing 260 horsepower and 240 lb.-ft. of torque. It is available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Fuel economy for the 2021 Murano is rated at 20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined for both front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
There are standard 18-inch machined aluminum-alloy wheels, or available 20-inch wheels in machined aluminum alloy dark metallic gray, aluminum-alloy dark charcoal painted finish or aluminum-alloy dark silver finish.
The 2021 Murano has standard LED head and taillights and LED daytime running lights, with available LED fog lights. There are available heated outside mirrors and standard integrated turn signals, available motion activated power lift gate and available dual panel moonroof.
On the interior, there is a standard 7-inch driver-assist display and an 8-inch touch control display. Rear seats fold flat with a 60-40 split, with standard remote folding and available power return.
Available comfort features include front and rear seat heaters, climate-controlled front seats and heated steering wheel with memory, as well as various seat finishes.
