Lara Trump has joined the Fox News family.
Trump, who’s married to the former president’s son, Eric, was introduced as a Fox contributor Monday by “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt.

“Let’s bring in Lara Trump, former senior adviser for the Trump campaign,” Earhardt said on the morning program. “And we have a big announcement — she is a new Fox News contributor. Welcome to the family, Lara.”
Trump will be reunited with Larry Kudlow and Kayleigh McEnany, both of whom also made the short leap from the Trump White House to the right-wing cable TV brand.
While appearing as a guest on Fox News last week, Trump confessed she, too, has political ambitions and is considering a run for the senate in her native state of North Carolina. “Fox & Friends” host Steve Doocy, who said he’d read Trump was mulling a campaign, asked his new colleague about that situation.
“Fox has been very generous with me and they have said look if that’s something you ultimately decide to do they are going to work with me on that front and make sure all the rules are followed and we do everything properly,” Trump said.
Trump also said on Fox News Monday that she was excited to join the network, where she has appeared so frequently that she feels “like I’ve been an unofficial member of the team for so long.”
Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera announced earlier this month that he was considering running for office in Ohio, but claimed “Fox freaked out” and pressured him to choose between being on TV and becoming a legislator.
Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has also worked at Fox, but left after announcing her intentions to be Arkansas’ next governor.
Lara Lea Yunaska became a Trump after marrying the 45th president’s second-eldest son in 2014 at Mar-a-Lago. She previously worked as a producer for the newsmagazine program “Inside Edition.”
