Not everyone’s a believer: I don’t dislike Christians, I simply disagree with them. But they sure despise me. I attended a wake a while ago and while standing alone at the casket, this classless Christian walks up from behind and says, “She’s in heaven whether you like it or not.” You see, I’m a nonbeliever and to her, I am the enemy. Can you imagine the outrage if I had done that in reverse to her? Only 65% of U.S. adults identify as Christian, church attendance is down 7% in the past decade, nonbelievers in the U.S. now account for 20% of the adult population. I guess millions of people have decided they’d rather go to hell.
Biden supporter off base: A Speak Out about Biden’s wonderful speech said how wonderful and understanding Biden is. What is wrong with this guy? Biden is killing American jobs, letting illegals into the country in record numbers. Trump was for all America and did not falter during four years of constant barraging by Democrats and false accusations.
Promises, promises: First the Republicans were going to build a big beautiful new wall and have Mexico pay for it. Didn’t happen. Then they were going to replace Obamacare with a brand new perfect health system with no preexisting conditions. They never had a plan. Then they started talking about infrastructure. It became a joke they kept saying next week was Infrastructure Week. I know there must be some thoughtful congressmen out there, but they’ve been either beat down by Donald in the cultist group or they’re going to resign.
Action vs. words: In his speech, President Biden took no credit for any of the vaccines, except for buying more. He also emphasized the effort to get the vaccines out and into arms, something the previous administration failed to make a plan for. Yes, Trump gets credit for starting Operation Warp Speed, but he also gets credit for 530,000 dead Americans, and rightly so.
If can’t do it, don’t: Recently people were commenting about the way the national anthem has been sung (at public events). Well, there’s only one way to cure it. If you can’t sing it right, don’t sing it at all.
