It is once again getting real.

MTV’s “The Real World” is coming to Paramount+, and it will kick off with a return of the original New York cast in the original SoHo loft.

The multi-episode reunion, titled “The Real World Homecoming: New York,” will be available March 4, the Paramount+ launch date.

Norman Korpi, Andre Comeau, Julie Oliver, Rebecca Blasband, Heather B., Eric Nies and Kevin Powell appear at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards.

All seven original roommates, Becky Blasband, Andre Comeau, Heather B. Gardner, Julie Gentry, Norman Korpi, Eric Nies and Kevin Powell, will return 29 years after they changed television.

“‘The Real World’ is credited with creating the reality TV genre and was one of the first series to tackle important and yet unrepresented topics such as LGBTQ, race, gender, HIV/AIDS and religion,” MTV president Chris McCarthy said in a press release. “It seems only fitting to bring back the franchise and cast that started it all for the launch.”

MTV described the reunion as a docuseries in which the cast will revisit memories of the original season and share how it changed their lives.

Since they moved out, MTV filmed 32 more “Real World” seasons in different cities, the most recent being “The Real World: Atlanta” in 2019.
