If you live in Hinsdale and still don’t know where to start when it comes to Valentine’s Day plans, this might help.
In honor of love, the village of Hinsdale is putting together a special package that you can order for whoever holds your heart.
The goody bag will be filled with sweet treats including Rice Crispy treats and conversation heart candies, games and other Valentine Day themed surprises and delivered by Cupid’s Courier on Feb. 11 or 12. You can register any adult or child in your household, or send Cupid to anyone else who lives in Hinsdale.
Heather Bereckis, Superintendent of Parks & Recreation, said the program is new this year but it was inspired by the pop-up style events the town does for different holidays.
“This year we thought Valentine’s Day would be fun, and to tie it in with covid by saying ‘spread love not cooties,'” she added.
The cost per surprise bag is $15 and gift givers can customize a message to go along with it.
The pandemic may have put a damper on your typical plans, but you can still celebrate with something sweet to snack on — just make sure to register before Feb. 5.
