A 31-year-old woman was arrested after she was accused of driving her car into a barricade outside the Trump International Tower and Hotel on Tuesday morning, according to Chicago police.
About 4 a.m., the woman was driving a Honda sedan northbound when she “intentionally drove around officers onto the sidewalk” and crashed into a barricade outside Trump Tower, at 401 W. Wabash Ave. in the Near North neighborhood, police said.
The woman was not injured, and no other injuries were reported, police said.
The woman was taken into custody, and charges are pending, police said.
