Lake of the Ozarks State Park

The greatest asset of the Osage Beach, Missouri, area is the 17,000-acre Lake of the Ozarks State Park. It’s a beautiful place where, in winter, a hiker can find solitude on many well-marked trails with gradual inclines, as well as flatwoods and fens, native grasses and streams, history by way of 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps buildings, and fearless dear and armadillos.
