Two Chicago men were arrested on charges they stole alcohol valued at a total of $5,100 from a Jewel-Osco grocery store during three separate incidents, Naperville police said.
Police were called to the 127 E. Ogden Ave. store about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday in regards to two men who allegedly took alcoholic items without paying for them, a police department news release said.
An investigation determined the two suspects were the same pair who allegedly stole liquor on two previous occasions between Sunday and Tuesday, the release said. Both previous incidents were reported to police but the suspects were gone before officers arrived.

Donald Swope, 50, and Johnnie C. West, 54, were charged with one count of felony burglary and two counts of felony retail theft. Swope was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and West with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
West is being held in the DuPage County jail in lieu of an undisclosed bond amount. Swope was released on bond Wednesday.
