Junk in the road
My message is this. I live on a road called Shagbark in Lake County. Well, today’s collection of drivers driving on it and throwing things out has included two face masks. We now have from North Chicago or Waukegan, Popeyes containers. I have today Target shopping bags, McDonalds, etc. I know this is from people driving. This, every morning, I go out every morning to get the paper across the street, then I have to try to pick up the garbage that the drivers have left me. I’m 88 years old. I don’t understand why people do this. But they do. They are disrespectful. Whoever they are, there’s no reason for this. Apparently, their parents never raised them correctly to be respectful of property, etc. Thank you.
Too much panhandling
When is this horrible, terrible panhandling going to stop at all the corners in Waukegan? It’s unbelievable that we don’t have a law mandating these people to get off the corners and stop begging? They’re in better shape than I am. Their shoes and their jackets are in better shape than mine. So please stop giving.
Why give to Trump?
Hey, Trumplicans, I’m not sure if he’s smart or you’re stupid, but he sure is collecting a lot of money from you.
Taxpayers should revolt
Are the Chicago Public Schools out of their mind? A $40,000 raise to (Chicago Public Schools CEO Janice Jackson). I don’t care if she’s the president of the United States. Nobody in the school system deserves that much of a raise. This is what’s wrong with our school systems. Us poor taxpayers have pay for that. You’re out of your mind. I hope the Chicago taxpayers go nuts.
Stimulus benefits all
Let’s see if I can explain this to the common taxpayer. There are over 20 million people out of work — sure, there is plenty of work and there are jobs to be had, but that’s beside the point. There are 20 million people out of work. They do not have an income by no fault of their own. If we do not give them some money, they are not going to be able to spend a penny on anything, which means there will be no money spent at any stores on anything for anything. That means, all the Republicans that own the stores would go bankrupt. So now you can either give the Democrats some money to go spend and you can stay in business, Republicans, or you can say we’re not going to give them money, they’re not going to spend money and you’ll go bust. Goodbye.
