Lights festival needs work: I wasn’t impressed with Elgin’s Festival of Lights at the downtown park. I guess it was a good start, but they need to put lights up on all the trees and get more displays like they do in Elk Grove Village. Their display is enchanting. I’d love to see something like that here.
Worthless Supreme Court: I cannot believe our Supreme Court hasn’t got any sense. It’s got no guts. It’s got no leadership. It’s got nothing. It’s got (Chief Justice John) Roberts, and we are all doomed. They’re going to pack that court, and they’re going to get rid of him because he’s useless.
Answer me this: Constitutionalists, who continually brag about their allegiance to an outdated piece of parchment, owe every American an explanation why murderers, traitors and convicted felons deserve presidential pardons.
Crosby’s wrong to judge: Could you tell (columnist) Denise Crosby not to be judging people all the time? Readers don’t have to judge the dine-in rule-breakers because she names them rule breakers. She calls them names. The media is just terrible. Who are you to judge what people are doing when you don’t do what you’re supposed to do? It’s wrong. Here go the media again. Anyone who eats out is terrible, rotten, going to hell and everything else.
Violent protests wrong: I was wondering why all these people are out here protesting. I don’t mind the protest if they love Donald Trump so much. But I don’t like violent protests. When Hillary Clinton lost, there were protests, but no one got violent. No one threatened the lives of elected officials. They protested. I wanted to protest, but I accepted the vote of the American people. I accepted Donald Trump as president of the United States. It made my stomach flip over a few times, but I accepted it. No matter what happens Joe Biden will be president.
Vaccine concerns: The only cause of death we are hearing now is COVID, COVID, COVID. How do we know all these deaths are caused by COVID? How do we know this COVID vaccine will be safe for people with preexisting problems if they already died of COVID because of the preexisting conditions? There are so many questions about these vaccines. The thing that scares me more than anything right now is our rights are being taken away step by step by the government and the medical profession.
Hats off to J.B.: A personal shout out to our terrific Gov. J.B. Pritzker and his staff for trying to keep us safe and running the state the way it needs to be run!
