Western Springs residents will have a choice of candidates for the District 101 School Board in the April 6 election.

Six people in the elementary school district have filed to run, with four seats open on the ballot.

Incumbents Brett Lettiere and Caitlin Sendaydiego are both seeking their second four-year term.

Also wanting a say in how District 101’s four schools in Western Springs are run are Daniel Pansing, Catherine Moon Dudley, Emily Zimmerman and James (Ted) McNabb.

People have until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, to file an objection to a candidate’s petitions. The Cook County Clerk’s Office said no objections had been filed as of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday

President Julie O’Connor and board member Lisa Garvin, who were first elected in 2013, are not seeking reelection.
