As the 2021 College Football Playoffs are almost upon us, here’s the schedule for the New Year’s Six bowls and how to watch each game. (All times Central)
This will be the seventh edition of the College Football Playoffs, this one ending a 2020-21 season that has been unlike any other because of the coronavirus pandemic. What is familiar, however, is the lineup for the playoffs, which features perennial powers Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Notre Dame.
Last season, LSU won the championship by beating Clemson in the title game. Oklahoma and Ohio State were the other two finalists.
Cotton Bowl | No. 6 Oklahoma vs. No. 7 Florida | ESPN | Dec. 30, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Big 12 Conference champions Oklahoma will face SEC runner-up Florida for the first time since 2009 when the Gators topped the Sooners in the BCS National Championship Game. Florida quarterback Kyle Trask will be missing leading receivers Kyle Pitts, Trevon Grimes and Kadarius Toney.
Peach Bowl | No. 8 Cincinnati vs. No. 9 Georgia | ESPN | Jan. 1, 2021 at 11 a.m.

Cincinnati enters the Peach Bowl with a 9-0 record and the champions of the American Athletic Conference. The Bearcats are looking for their first victory in a New Year’s Six bowl game. This is the fourth-straight appearance in a New Year’s Six bowl for Georgia under head coach Kirby Smart.
Rose Bowl | No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 4 Notre Dame | ESPN | Jan. 1, 2021 at 3 p.m.

Top-ranked Alabama is seeking their third College Football Playoff Championship in seven seasons. The Crimson Tide have been in the College Football Playoff six of the last seven seasons. Notre Dame is still seeking their first College Football Playoff win.
Sugar Bowl | No. 2 Clemson vs. No. 3 Ohio State | ESPN | Jan. 1, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Second-ranked Clemson is seeking their third College Football Playoff Championship in the last seven seasons. The Tigers have advanced to the championship game in four of the last five seasons. Third-ranked Ohio State is looking for their first trip to the championship game since 2015 when the Buckeyes won it all.
Fiesta Bowl | No. 25 Oregon vs. No. 10 Iowa State | ESPN | Jan. 2, 2021 at 3 p.m.

After winning the Pac-12 Championship Game, Oregon earned an automatic bid to a New Year’s Six game. The Ducks will be making their third Fiesta Bowl appearance in school history — having won their previous two matchups. Iowa State will be playing in a bowl game for a school record fourth-straight season after losing to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship. This is the first time the Cyclones will play in a New Year’s Six bowl game.
Orange Bowl | No. 5 Texas A&M vs. No. 13 North Carolina | ESPN | Jan. 2, 2021 at 7 p.m.

The Orange Bowl will be the first game ever played between Texas A&M and North Carolina. The Aggies were one spot away from making their first appearance in the College Football Playoff. The Tar Heels are making their first appearance in the Orange Bowl.
