There’s something about tiny bulbs glowing against the backdrop of a cold winter’s night that brings out that excited child-like reaction and harkens back to Christmases past and the thrill of waiting to see what Santa left under the tree. These scenes are part of the NaperLights display along the Naperville Riverwalk and Water Street in downtown Naperville, an annual tradition that appears every holiday season courtesy of the Naperville Sunrise Rotary Club.
