Four seats on the Darien City Council will be up for election in April 2021. Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Three of the four aldermen positions in Darien will be contested in the April election.
The aldermen seats in Wards 1, 3, 5 and 7 are all up for election April 6, 2021.
The incumbents who currently have those seats want to hold onto them, and Ted Schauer in Ward 1 likely will.
Schauer, who has been serving on the Darien City Council since April 2009, is running unopposed for alderman of that ward.
In Ward 3, however, voters will have a choice of incumbent Joseph A. Kenny or Pamela Taylor.
In Ward 5, incumbent Mary Sullivan will face off against John Laratta.
And Thomas Belczak will be challenged by Norbert Tamos in his bid for a second term representing Ward 7.
