Trevor Noah and his team at “The Daily Show” took out ads in several national newspapers, offering legal services to any presidents who may face criminal charges someday.

“Are you a soon-to-be-ex-president? About to lose legal immunity?” the ad asks. “Has your lawyer gone to jail?”

Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen was sentenced to prison in 2018 on charges including campaign finance violations. He pleaded guilty to arranging hush money payments to women with whom the president allegedly had affairs, including porn star Stormy Daniels.

Cohen testified those payments, which were privately funded, were intended to keep reports of Trump’s infidelities from hurting his 2016 presidential campaign. Trump denied the affairs. He has not been charged as a co-conspirator in that crime, though the Department of Justice has a policy against prosecuting a sitting president. If he loses the election in November, Trump would become a civilian in January.

The Comedy Central ad adds, “We’ll get you off … and you won’t even have to pay us $130,000.”

That’s the amount Cohen allegedly paid Daniels to keep quiet.

Noah’s fake legal team claims to specialize in areas of law including “corruption,” “mega-corruption” and “mail murder.”

President Trump, who isn’t mentioned by name in Noah’s single-page spot, will make his plea for reelection Thursday on the final night of the Republican National Convention. The party’s convention will wind down with Trump using the White House as a backdrop to deliver his speech.

Noah’s mock-up replicates the sort of legal advertisements actual law firms put in papers, but this one features a photos of comedians in suits, doing their best to look litigious.

The spot is running in the New York Times, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times, according to Comedy Central.
