Sofia Vergara is standing up for Ellen DeGeneres.

Amid allegations of a toxic work environment at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” a 2015 clip of the Emmy-winning comedian mocking Vergara’s heavy Spanish accent has resurfaced on social media.

The “Modern Family” star hails from Colombia so the teasing drew criticism and underscored claims that DeGeneres is not as nice as she appears on camera. Some social media denizens called her actions racist.

But Vergara poo-pooed that scuttlebutt.

“Two comedians having fun with each other to entertain,” the NAACP Image Award winning actress tweeted Friday. “I was never a victim guys, I was always in on the joke.”

The “America’s Got Talent” judge is the latest celebrity who has offered support for DeGeneres during the firestorm surrounding the talk show.

Last week, three of the chatfest’s top producers – Ed Glavin, Kevin Leman and Jonathan Norman – were fired

following an investigation launched by the show’s distributor, Warner Bros. Television.
