The show will go on for Megan Thee Stallion.
The hit-making hip hop star will perform her first live virtual concert next week.
Produced by Live Nation, next Saturday’s event will be her first full appearance since her history-making Cardi B collaboration, and Beyoncé-powered remix thrust her to the top of the pop charts.
It will also be Megan Thee Stallion’s first public appearance since being shot in her feet — she alleges by Canadian rapper Tory Lanez.
In June, the newly-named Revlon cosmetics spokesperson performed the tracks “Girls in the Hood” and “Savage Remix” during a prerecorded “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome” inspired video clip that aired during the 2020 BET Awards.
With creative direction from JaQuel Knight, tickets are available for $15 for the concert, which will be livestreamed Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. EDT.
It takes place the day before the “2020 MTV Video Music Awards,” where the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper has nominations for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Hip-Hop.
