A 52-year-old woman and two men have been shot at a barbershop in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood Friday afternoon.
About 2:30 p.m. the door of MVP Cuts, 1107 N. Western Ave., flew open and two gunmen opened fire, hitting the victims, all of whom were inside the shop, police said.
The assailants fled and the victims were tended to by Chicago Fire department paramedics.
A 52-year-old woman was shot in the thigh, an 18-year-old man was shot in the ankle and a 20-year-old man was shot in the ankle and thigh, police said. The woman was in fair condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, while the men were take to Stroger Hospital, where they also were listed in fair condition
Multiple shell casings could be seen inside and out of the shop. As of about 3:15 p.m., staffers could be seen inside the shop speaking with Chicago police officers. The sidewalk on Western was taped off.
Nobody was arrested, police said.
Area Three detectives are investigating.
