Kim Kardashian may appear to have her hands full with her rapping presidential hopeful husband Kanye West, but that’s not stopping her from keeping up with her prison reform work for another rapper.

The reality TV icon has joined in the fight to help release rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller, who is currently serving a life sentence for a 2002 murder.

The No Limit Records artist had a successful rap career before he was convicted for the second-degree murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas.

Miller and his family – including his brother, rap music mogul Master P – have maintained his innocence, alleging several mistakes during the case’s investigation and trial, including recanted witness testimonies, insufficient DNA and a 10-2 jury conviction.

Yet, he was still denied a retrial and is currently serving time at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.

R&B singer Monica (nee Monica Arnold) dated the New Orleans gangsta rapper before his imprisonment and maintained a connection with him through the years.

The Grammy Award winner announced plans to work with Kardashian, human rights attorney Jessica Jackson, and REFORM Alliance’s Erin Haney to help free her ex.

“C-Murder and I are bonded by truth, honest, & loyalty. There’s never been a promise broke & I vowed to seek help,” Monica wrote on Instagram Sunday. “Corey deserves to come home to his girls and be the father they need, be the artist & leader he’s always been as well as spread hope to those who have also experienced this.”

“The Boy Is Mine” chanteuse continued, describing a tearful conversation she had with “Power” actress Lala Anthony and Kardashian, detailing why she “knew” Miller was innocent.

In recent years, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star has repeatedly used her social media/celebrity influence to spark national interest and push for clemency in the cases of Black people whose imprisonments have been considered miscarriages of justice.

On Twitter, she pledged to help Miller return home to his kids and seek “true justice” for Thomas, demanding that the person who “actually” killed him be held responsible.

Miller shared his appreciation for their efforts on Instagram, acknowledging Kardashian for “changing lives of those of us that have been forgotten.”

In another post, he thanked Monica for putting together a “team that could change the outcome of a very unfair fate.”

C-Murder, along with other members of his family, were prominently featured in the recently-aired BET docu-series, titled” No Limit Chronicles,” which chronicled Master P’s extraordinary journey from humble beginnings as a New Orleans hustler to platinum-selling hip-hop pioneer.

Throughout the mid-1990s, No Limit Records roster of artists included Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Scarface, A Tribe Called Quest and Cypress Hill.

The independent label reportedly generated over $1 billion in revenue, releasing 66 albums and earning numerous platinum plaques and Billboard chart-toppers, including the label’s first platinum single, Master P’s “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!”
