Davies has been with the ABC affiliate station since 1984. She has hosted the station’s “190 North” lifestyles program and is the longtime co-host of the station’s annual live New Year’s Eve broadcast with veteran sports anchor Mark Giangreco.

Davies bought the 3,000-square-foot house on North Paulina Street through a land trust for about $802,000 in 2000, including upgrades. Now, Davies said, she is downsizing.

“(It sold after) its first and only showing,” she told Elite Street in an email. “(I’m) downsizing — (I’m) an empty nester of two boys who are off at college. I’m not buying — renting is a better idea in these times. I loved the ‘hood and the house all these years.”
