On Wednesday, the Parisian luxury fashion house shared two photos of its newest celebrity model, as the face for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection.

Photographed by celebrated fashion photographer David Sims, the Baltimore filmmaker, artist and best-selling author is portrayed as the essence of chic, dressed in a black double-breasted jacket, with a black shirt and black polka dot tie.

An accompanying video shows Waters — and his signature pencil-thin mustache — adjusting his dark sunglasses, looking at himself in a fogged-up square mirror and speaking to the camera.

“It’s really mind-blowing.”

Saint Laurent’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, wrote in his teaser for the fall campaign that he is “very proud to have worked with John Waters for the Fall.”
