Three boys escaped from police custody while being transported to Chicago’s juvenile center Monday evening, police said.
Around 7:30 p.m., officers were in the process of transporting four boys near the 3900 block of South California Avenue when three escaped.
The incident occurred near the Juvenile Intervention Support Center in Brighton Park, where the children were set to be taken.
There have been no additional updates on their whereabouts, according to police.
