Charges have been filed against a 20-year-old man who allegedly grabbed a television reporter and shouted a vulgar statement during a live broadcast from Shorewood over the weekend.
Eric Farina grabbed the WGN-TV reporter by her shoulders Saturday night and “uttered a profane and disturbing statement,” according to Shorewood police.
Farina fled but police located him at his Minooka home the next day, where he was arrested after making a “full confession,” police said.
Farina was charged with battery and disorderly conduct and has been released on a $2,500 recognizance bond, police said.
