A section of Wadsworth Road in Beach Park will be closed to all traffic for about two weeks, according to the Lake County Division of Transportation.
The closure, which will occur where the roadway crosses underneath the Robert McClory Bike Path, will begin at 6 a.m. on May 26 and is scheduled to end in the late afternoon of June 9, according to a county alert.
Traffic will be detoured along York House Road with Lewis Avenue and Sheridan Road, also known as state Route 137, providing access to and from Wadsworth Road, according to the alert.
The closure is occurring because of planned storm sewer drainage repairs, including the replacement of deteriorating curbs and gutters, according to the county’s project website.
The Robert McClory Bike Path will remain open to bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
