Paramount Theatre announced casting for “Kinky Boots,” running Apt. 29-June 14.

Trent Stork will direct, Michael George and Isaiah Silvia-Chandley will co-choreograph and Kory Danielson will music direct, conduct and music supervisor.

Lyric Opera announced full casting for “42nd Street,” running May 29 – June 21.

Stephen Mear will direct and choreograph and will featuring members of the Lyric Opera Orchestra, conducted by Gareth Valentine.

Previously announced Broadway stars Norm Lewis and Faith Prince are joined by Isabelle McCalla, Ashley Day, Ruth Gottschall, Eddie Korbich, Matt Crowle, Kristen Beth Williams, John Lister and Jay Montgomery. The ensemble includes: Shannon Alvis, Brian Bandura, Matt Casey, Brian Duncan, Annie Jo Ermel, Erica Evans, Madison Piner, Barry Busby, Juan Caballer, Whitney Cooper, Darien Crago, Alex Drost, Kirsty Fuller, Sarah Gold, Tyler Johnson-Campion, Graham Keen, Drew King, Daniel Marhelko, Sarah Meahl, James Patterson, Emily Phillips, Jason Daniel Rath, Julio Rey, Alyssa Sarnoff, Christopher Shin, Karilyn Surratt, Thomas Sutter, Kelly Swint, Ross Thompson, Paige Williams and Kelli Youngman.

First Floor Theatre announced casting for the world premiere of “The Juniors,” running Apr. 18-May 30. Noah Diaz’s play follows a class of high school juniors with a simple home economics assignment: parent a sack of flour for a week.

Artistic director Hutch Pimentel will direct a cast including: Caroline Chu, Andrew Cutler, Raphael Diaz, Kayla Forde, Jayson Lee and Nancy Wagner.

The production team includes: Sydney Lynne Thomas, scenic design; Uriel Gomez, costume design; David Dawson and Claire Chrzan, lighting design; Anastar Alvarez, properties design and Micah Figueroa, violence and intimacy design.

AstonRep Theatre Company announced casting for Sarah Treem’s “When We Were Young and Unafraid,” running Apr. 9-May 10. The Chicago premiere tells the story of domestic violence victims seeking refuge at a bed and breakfast in the early 1970s.

Co-artistic director Sara Pavlak McGuire will direct a cast of: Amy Kasper, JoAnn Birt, Martin Diaz-Valdes, Halle Hoffman and Angela Oliver.

The production team includes: Jeremiah Barr, scenic, props and make-up design; kClare McKellaston, costume, hair and wig design; Liz Cooper, lighting design; Robert Tobin, sound design; Claire Yearman, intimacy design; Sara Pavlak McGuire, casting director and Melanie Kulas, stage manager.

Pride Films & Plays announced casting for Gregory S. Moss’ “I Promised Myself to Live Faster,” running Apr. 23-May 31. This intergalactic show follows closeted extraterrestrials and nuns from outer space.

JD Caudill will direct a cast featuring: Robert Williams, Tommy Bullington, Taylor Dalton, Chazie Bly, Katy Murphy, Jillian Leff and Bradley Halverson. Understudies are: TJ Crawford, Stefan Brundage, Ryan Brown, Katie Incardona, Josue David Camarena, Colie Smigliani and Kevin Sparrow.
