The sequel film to 2017’s remake of Stephen King’s “IT” just made its run through theaters, and to celebrate the Halloween holiday, Replay Lincoln Park will put on its best Derry, Maine, costume and evoke the scariest bits of Pennywise the clown for an “IT” pop-up. Saint Olive’s Garden
Saint Lou’s Assembly gets in on the Halloween fun this week, as the restaurant is all dressed up as Olive Garden for the holiday. As of Thursday afternoon, Saint Lou’s had officially extended the pop-up through Saturday. The event takes over the restaurant to capture both the aesthetic and taste of everyone’s favorite O.G. Expect unlimited breadsticks, fried raviolo and many more favorites, plus drink pairings that include a housemade “Lou-mencello,” the frozen peach “Be-Lou-ni,” or other Italian faves. Jack o’lights
This weekend is your last chance to take in the Pier Pumpkin Lights from Navy Pier. The pop-up features a variety of pumpkin-centric installations, including jack o’lantern towers and large light displays. There will also be themed food and drinks available throughout the Pier. Witch’s brews
The annual Brew-Ja Crawl in Pilsen takes its name from “bruja,” the Spanish word for “witch,” a spirited play on words. The event celebrates both Día de los Muertos and Halloween, with 10 different venues along 18th Street in Pilsen offering one free beverage per person, as well as live music and many more specials on food and drink. A continuous trolley will run back-and-forth along 18th Street to transport attendees, and everyone who wears a costume is automatically entered in the costume contest. Love after death
Another Dia de los Muertos celebration is happening at the National Museum of Mexican Art, with the annual Love Never Dies Ball. Attire is creative cocktail, so you can have some fun with it, and there will be sugar-skull face-painting available as well.
