Elgin police are investigating shots fired in the area of Crystal and Ball streets Friday night that struck a parked vehicle.
A dark colored car was driving in the area about 9:45 p.m. when a man got out of the car and fired at another man running in the area, police reports stated. No injures were reported, but a person was fixing the vehicle at the time it was struck with gunfire, police said.
