On Tuesday, TimeLine Theatre announced casting for their upcoming production of J.T. Rodgers’ “Oslo” (Sept. 10-Oct. 20).
Founding artistic director Nick Bowling will direct a cast featuring: Scott Parkinson, Bri Sudia, Anish Jethmalani, Jed Feder, Bernard Balbot, Ron E. Rains, Amro Salama, Stef Tovar, Bassam Abdelfattah, Tom Hickey, Victor Holstein, Juliet Hart and David Parkes.
TimeLine’s upcoming production will be the Chicago premiere of Rodgers’ Tony Award winning play. It premiered in the fall of 2016 at New York’s Lincoln Center before moving to Broadway the following spring. It then played at London’s Royal National Theatre in September 2017 before transferring to the West End.
“Oslo” follows the true story of the previously secret negotiations in 1992 between Israel and Palestine, orchestrated by a Norwegian couple.
All performances will take place at Broadway Playhouse, 175 E. Chestnut St.
