Disney Springs visitors have a new parking option now that its Grapefruit Garage is open. The facility was added on the heels of two other multilevel garages – dubbed Orange and Lime – for the shopping and entertainment complex. Here’s what you need to know about going Grapefruit.
The new garage is across the street from Disney Springs, directly across from the Lime Garage. It’s wedged between Buena Vista Drive, Walt Disney World’s Casting building, Interstate 4 and the Speedway service station. Drivers enter from Buena Vista Drive just to the east of the Speedway.
Unlike the other garages, Grapefruit folk must use a pedestrian walkway over Buena Vista Drive in order to enter Disney Springs. The start of the elevated sidewalk is in the far east side of the garage.

It took me about 250 strides to get across the two-stage bridge, which has a stairway midway that allows access to nearby hotels. There are three flights of stairs to reach ground level. Arrival is near the east side of the complex’s World of Disney store.
By contrast, Lime garage users enter Disney Springs in the Town Center neighborhood. The Orange Garage places visitors on the West Side, near Planet Hollywood, the Coca-Cola Store and the movie theater. (The Orange Garage has almost direct access from the Interstate 4 ramp.)

The elevated walkway to and from Grapefruit is caged in. But there’s not a solid roof, so it’s not a good shelter during a rainstorm.
On the plus side, the Grapefruit Garage is less congested. On a recent evening visit, there were at least 2,000 spots open. The new facility, which has about 3,000 parking spaces, has the same system for indicating open slots as its predecessors.

Parking at Grapefruit Garage is free. There is still surface parking available at Disney Springs, mostly on the west end near the Cirque du Soleil building. There is also valet parking for $20 at three Disney Springs locations.
