Universal Studios Florida is offering new add-on packages during its Mardi Gras event; one will spotlight Cajun food, while the other clears the way for seating during the New Orleans-style parade and the theme park’s Cinematic Celebration end-of-night spectacular.
Both deals, which require regular park admission, will be available on select nights.
For the new Bayou Boil, visitors will get crawfish, shrimp, potatoes and corn on the cob (chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya upon request) in Battery Park. Then, at parade time, they’ll watch from Pantages Theatre Courtyard, where they’ll snack on king cake and beignets, plus sparkling wine and other (non-alcoholic) beverages.

The Bayou Boil price is $59.99 per person ($39.99 for ages 3-9). It will be available Feb. 16, 17 and 23 and March 2, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31.
Universal’s “Mardi Gras Parade, Desserts and Cinematic Viewing Experience” is just what it says in the title. Buyers will watch the parade from Pantages whilst noshing on specialty desserts, before hitting a reserved area — a blanket on grass — in Central Park for the Cinematic Celebration show, which includes projections on buildings and prancing fountains.
The parade-Cinematic Celebration option runs $49.99 per person ($29.99 for ages 3-9). It’s offered March 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20 ,21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 and April 1, 2, 3, 4.
Universal’s Mardi Gras runs nightly through April 4. There’s Cajun music, cuisine and theme parade nightly, with major concerts on the Music Plaza Stage on select evenings. The music and parade are included in regular Universal Studios admission.
