Are you ready to have a little fun with your Fido? If so, don’t miss the 15th annual Halloween parade this weekend at Tails in the City (1 E. Delaware Place), a “luxury pet boutique” just off the Magnificent Mile.
For a donation of $15 per dog, which benefits PAWS Chicago (no charge for humans), you can join other pet parents and their pugs and poodles on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a doggone good time. The parade kicks off at the Tails in the City store and follows the scent right down the street to Washington Square Park for a costume contest.
Compete to win prizes for scariest, most glamorous, best duo (pet and owner) and best overall. Make sure to dress to impress, because it’s a dog-eat-dog world. On that note, $1 hot dogs from Downtown Dogs will be available for purchase, and goodie bags will be given out as well.
