Been lacking a little magic in your life? That’s about to change — if you can wake up on time.
Starting at 6 a.m. this Saturday, Sept. 29, AMC River East 21 (322 E. Illinois St.) is showing all eight of the hallowed “Harry Potter” movies, from “Sorcerer’s Stone” to “Deathly Hallows — Part 2.” For $40, dedicated fans can sit back, relax and pretend they’re at Hogwarts as they enjoy almost 24 hours of back-to-back screenings.
Don’t worry, you’ll get the chance to stretch your legs between films. There will be longer breaks for lunch and dinner, as well as one final break later on in the evening — a chance to satisfy your late night munchies, perhaps?
Provided you can skip your weekend Quidditch match or Potions study group, grab some friends and head to the movie theater this Saturday morning to spend your day celebrating the iconic series’ 20th anniversary.
