On Monday, Starvox Touring announced the U.S. premiere of Jamie Allan’s “iMagician,” playing at the Harris Theater this holiday season.
Previously seen in London’s West End, “iMagician” reflects Allan’s signature use of new technology and classic illusions, in which he incorporates classic magic with high-powered laser beams, digital tablets and social media.
Highlights from the show will include “The Laser Levitation,” in which performers fly over the stage, supported only by laser beams, and “Houdini 2.0,” which combines immersive video mapping technology with an underwater escape.
The show will run Dec. 22, 2018 – Jan. 6, 2019 at the Harris, 205 E. Randolph St, with individual tickets on sale Oct. 5.
