
On Thursday, Invictus Theatre announced the cast of “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” its second show of the 2018-19 season.
In this Shakespearean comedy, the King of Navarre and his trio of friends make a vow to swear off food, fun, sleep and women, focusing their efforts on studying for three years — until the Princess of France and her three friends come along on a political mission. The production will be directed by Dylan S. Roberts
The cast includes Chad Bay as Ferdinand, King of Navarre. Raina Lynn will be the Princess of France. The King’s three friends who all swear off love will be played by Charles Askenaizer as Biron, Samual Cheeseman as Dumain, and Taylor Glowac as Longaville. The Frenchwomen who attract their attention will be played by Rachael Soglin as Rosaline, Amber Cartwright and Katherine Duffy as Maria.
Cast as Costard, the play’s “fool,” is Johnny Kalita. Jaquenetta, the comic counterpart to Costard, will be played by Daniela Martinez. Martin Diaz-Valdes has been cast as the Spaniard Don Armado and Rae Hamilton-Vargo will play Armado’s page, Moth. Completing the cast are Jack Morsovillo as Sir Nathaniel, Alisha Fabbi as Holofernes, Joseph Beal as Boyet and Steven Hermez as Dull.
The show will play Oct. 24 – Nov. 18 at the Frontier, 1106 W. Thorndale Ave.
