New Lenox ShareFest and Will County are teaming up again this year for the annual Recyclepalooza event from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 8 at Spencer School 1701 S. Spencer Road, New Lenox.
Anyone wishing to drop off items for recycling or donating must make an appointment. This event is open to Will County residents only, and will accept most items, ranging from electronics to toys.
Motorists will be directed to follow a one-way traffic pattern, to drop off goods at various locations in the school parking lot.
Those participating should pack their vehicles to unload in the following order:
Electronics
Household Hazardous Waste
Styrofoam, cleaned and bagged
Scrap metal
Scrap wood
Textiles/clothing/household goods/toys
Books/worn American flags
Food to be donated to local pantries
