Barrel of Monkeys has announced the lineup for the 2018-19 season of “That’s Weird, Grandma,” its sketch show written by kids and performed by adults.

BOM teaching artists guide elementary students through a six-week curriculum and then the BOM ensemble stage the stories. The lineup of shows this season includes:

  • “Ghosts, Ghouls, and Talking Potatoes” (Oct. 7-Nov. 4),

  • “That’s Weird, Grandma Rings in the Holidays” (Dec. 10-22)

  • “Star-Studded Stories” (Jan. 20-Feb. 17, 2019)

  • “Stories That Sing and Dance” (May 3-25, 2019)

  • “Fantastic Beasts and the Stories About Them” (June 24-Aug. 12, 2019)

    All shows will play at the Neo-Futurists Theater, 5153 N. Ashland Ave.
