On Wednesday, the Side Project announced that it will be temporarily returning to the Rogers Park space it occupied for nine years, presenting a two-play rep this fall. Adam Webster, the company’s artistic director, will direct both shows.
The first in the series will be “Nick & Zoe” by Daniel Talbott, which follows the volatile relationship between two New Yorkers (Sept. 6-29).
Up next will be “Oxy, Ohio,” from Chicago playwright Steve J. Spencer (Sept. 22-Oct. 14). Set in Dayton, Ohio, the drama examines the turmoil of the opioid crisis.
Both shows will play at the McKaw Theater, 1439 W. Jarvis Ave.
