SeaWorld Orlando isn’t calling its upcoming concerts “Son of Praise Wave,” but it wouldn’t be unreasonable. The theme park has added two September concerts, a sort of expansion to its Christian-music event that was held in January and February this year.

Michael W. Smith, owner of 3 Grammys and 45 Dove Awards, will sing at SeaWorld on Sept. 15.

For this round, visitors can see Michael W. Smith on Sept. 15, followed by the Newsboys on Sept. 22.

These event dates will come on the heels of Universal Studios’ Rock the Universe concerts on Sept. 7-8. And for the first time in years, Walt Disney World will not be putting on its Night of Joy programming.

At SeaWorld Orlando, the artists will perform twice on each date, at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Nautilus Theater.

The performances are included in regular SeaWorld Orlando admission. Reserved-seat packages will start at $20 and be available online (seaworldorlando.com)
