A man gave a threatening note Thursday to an employee at a Lansing bank but took it back and left the business without any money, police said.
At 11:12 a.m., a man in his late 20s to early 30s wearing a white fisherman’s hat walked into the First Savings of Hegewisch Bank, 18207 Burnham Ave., officials said.
He handed an employee a threatening note but took it back and left the bank, police said.
No one was injured during the incident. The man is described as about 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing 145 pounds. He was wore a white shirt, dark pants and white shoes, officials said.
He was last seen walking south in the 18200 block of Burnham Avenue.

The man did not show a weapon, officials said. Police said they don’t know why left the bank without any money.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lansing police at 708-895-7150 or the FBI at 312-421-6700. The FBI is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
