Where to go for a date can be a vexing question. So much to consider, and so many options.

OKCupid is trying to help, at least, if you have a specific type of date in mind.

The dating app recently surveyed users about their favorite answers to a number of superlative categories, including “No-judgement makeout spots” and “Spots where drinks could turn into dinner,” then released the results. So, who were the Chicago winners?

Morning-after brunch: Lula Cafe

No-judgement makeout spot: Slippery Slope

Fitness & wellness date: Urban Kayaks

Best hotel bar: Cindy’s Rooftop

Cheap eats: 90 Miles Cuban Cafe

Photo-friendly spot: Punch House

Themed bar: Three Dots and a Dash

Spot where drinks could turn into dinner: The Violet Hour

Spot that sparks conversation: Adler Planetarium

If anything, the survey confirms that some of Chicagoans’ favorite spots are, indeed, still Chicagoans’ favorite spots.

Here were the runner-ups:

Brunch: Whisk

Makeout: The Owl

Fitness: First Ascent Climbing

Hotel bar: The Berkshire Room

Cheap eats: Piece Pizza

Photo-friendly: 3 Arts Cafe

Themed: Lost Lake

Drinks to dinner: The Berkshire Room

Conversation starter: Museum of Contemporary Art

The survey was conducted by integrating the survey directly into the app, as well as reminding users in participating cities to vote with in-app messages and push notifications, according to a PR representative.
