Food options in Toy Story Land come from inside Woody’s Lunch Box, a counter-serve restaurant in the middle of the new area opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.

The eatery is bigger than a breadbox, as the old saying goes, but not by much. Chef Robert Adams has packed it with sandwiches, breakfast options and a few beverages that are for grown-ups only.

“It’s really kind of a throwback,” Adams says. “What your mom would put in your lunchbox … or what you wish she had put in your lunch box.”

On the opening-day menu (which is presented on an oversize juice box above the counter) are a barbecue brisket melt, a grilled three-cheese sandwich, a Monte Cristo (baked, with raspberry jam), a smoked-turkey sandwich and what is listed as “totchos” – potato barrels, corns chips, chili and cheese.

“It’s a small location. We can’t have everything,” Adams says. “The garlic-bread smell really permeates the area, which is really good.”

The sandwiches range in price from $8.99 to $12.99 and come with a choice of macaroni salad, tomato-basil soup or potato barrels, a.k.a. tater tots, as a side.

The one dessert is the lunch box tart, either in raspberry or with chocolate Nutella and bacon.

Breakfast at Woody’s Lunch Box includes choices such as a potato barrel bowl with scrambled eggs and gravy, and a French Toast S’mores sandwich, which is coated with graham-cracker crumbs.

The latter is “nice and portable … and very indulgent,” Adams says.

Finally, the new Toy Story Land place features a handful of beverages that momma isn’t likely to have packed for you back in the day. Disney is introducing “Grownups’ Lemonade,” which includes Three Olives cherry vodka and also is offering Bud Light, Blue Moon ale and a hard cider.

Kids and teetotalers can opt for mystic portal punch, which has lemon-lime and tangerine flavors with Powerade Mountain Berry Blast.
