McDonald’s, which has been moving its operations to Chicago after several years in Oak Brook, again is contributing $100,000 to the village for Taste of Oak Brook expenses.

“We don’t know what the future will bring with McDonald’s moving to the city, but we’re again very grateful for their contribution to Oak Brook’s biggest event of the year,” said Michael Manzo, a village board member who is chairman of the village’ Taste of Oak Brook Committee.

“The village’s staff works very hard each year to put on a great event, and Taste of Oak Brook has turned into a fantastic event for families. It’s great to see so many of our own families come out, along with people from surrounding areas.

“We’re just hoping for great weather, which always is our wish.”
