On Thursday, Flying Elephant Productions announced casting for its Chicago premiere of “Defacing Michael Jackson,” the final production of the company’s first season.
The show will feature Samuel Martin, Jory Pender, Eldridge Shannon and Christopher Taylor in a story set in rural Florida, where a group of black teenagers create their own Michael Jackson fan club in 1984. But when a white boy moves to the neighborhood and tries to join the club, all the rules are challenged.
