Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you feel like you should have done more for your mom this Mother’s Day, you may not want to read any further.

Bulls forward Bobby Portis and Hawks winger Anthony Duclair were especially generous — and let’s face it, they can afford to be — to their moms on Sunday. Portis bought his mom, Tina Edwards, a house in Maumelle, Ark., while Duclair gifted his mom, Dominique Raphael, with a new Mercedes-Benz.

Both players kept the element of surprise alive until the last possible moment. Portis said he didn’t even tell his brothers about the house plan; he told his mom they were just stopping at the home for a “meeting.”

Duclair’s mom was so shocked she at first refused to believe it. “No, no,” Raphael said when Duclair told her the car at the Laval, Quebec dealership they were visiting was hers. “It’s too much,” she said.

Don’t worry, we’re sure your mom loved your gift because it came from your heart. But she might have loved it even more if it came with a sunroof and leather seats.
