Q: Where did you grow up and go to school?
A: I grew up in Bellwood and Lockport. I split my time between my mom and dad. I went to Lockport High School.

A: I go to College of DuPage. I’m going for business.
Q: When did you become interested in makeup?
A: I started to like makeup when I was in sixth grade. I realized that makeup made a big difference, so I’ve been doing it ever since.
Q: When did you begin working at Walgreens in Franklin Park?
A: I started in November 2017.
Q: How were you trained to be a beauty consultant?
A: They gave me a three-day class. I went to corporate, and beauty area experts taught me everything. They taught me about skin care, cosmetics and formula. I also learned through YouTube.
Q: When are you available for customers to have their makeup done?

A: I am available Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Q: Do customers have to purchase cosmetics?
A: No. I will do their makeup for free. They can bring in their own makeup, or they can purchase them at Walgreens.
Q: What do you like the most about doing makeup?
A: I like making people feel beautiful. If customers are feeling sad, makeup can make them feel better. Makeup can do so much for people’s confidence. They can look like a better version of themselves.
Q: How do most people react when you finish their makeup?
A: When they see the finished product, they are in awe. There are people who come in every day!
Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: I like to play with my nieces and nephews! I do makeup outside of work, also.
